★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Liva is one of my favourite places to go in Ankara. They have an excellent menu and very delicious sweets. They have beautiful branches almost everywhere. The staff are very polite and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were there before New year's 2018 right after renovation. Despite of huge sign "We are open", the place was barely ready to serve. Huge amount of waiters wasn't too helpful. Kids were upset.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of their savory bakery items are to die for. Imho desserts are a hit or miss. We also had lunch here a few times and the last time, boyfriend ordered a Mexican style pizza and paid for it by regular bathroom visits afterwards. Well, this was on him. Why would anyone order something like that in a Turkish cuisine focused bakery. Anyways, this place is ok in general but never rely on a cake/dessert and offer it to your guests before trying it yourself first. Oh, and kudos for having more non-smoking areas than smoke-free ones. This is unusual in this country.

Despite the ones of the menu, which have a fair amount of variety, Most of the cakes were creamy, and the only thing I can think of right now that could be improved or developed is the variety of the cakes they sell. Otherwise, a good experience to have in Ankara.
