Allium Bodrum Resort & SPA

It was an absolute pleasure to have stayed in this gem of a hotel. Coming from London, this trip was exactly what we needed and more. This little paradise became our home away from home, and we cannot wait to return. The food was exceptional. The crispy calamari, sea bass ceviche, grilled prawns and grilled fresh fish of the day quickly became our predictable lunchtime order followed by a fruit platter, Italian gelato and sorbet in the late afternoon. The gym is well equipped enough for holiday work outs and the spa was easily one of the dreamiest we’ve been to to date. The green house in the middle, the soothing sounds of the water features steadily trickling water, the brand new, pristine facilities, and the attentive, thoughtfulness of the spa manager Ugur, had us visiting every day. All the staff were absolutely lovely, and went above and beyond with everything they did. We cannot thank the Allium family enough for making this trip such a memorable one and always going the extra mile.

We stayed here for 4 nights 5 days, see below for a day by day review Day 1: excellent check in, the gentleman at reception during our check in was excellent, we checked in late around 10pm, the gentleman at reception was attentive, collected our bags promptly and the check in experience was flawless.100% credit to the gentleman at reception, he made our check in great and the room was excellent, clean, great facilities and large. +1 star. Day 2: unfortunately we were not informed that 2 of the three bars (including the beach bar) were shut for refurbishment, so we had limited access around the hotel, not ideal considering we paid full price for full access to the hotel and we couldn't actually get to the private beach. In addition my fiance told reception it was my birthday, unfortunately they did not understand - fair enough Turkish not being our mother tongue and English not being theirs so no qualms. She then spoke to the chef at the restaurant (the lady chef might I add is great) who sent a cake to our room. Amazing!! Dinner was also great, as it's down season there were hardly any guests so it's a waiter per table, food was also perfect no flaws +1 star. Day 3: unfortunately it's down hill from here. We ordered food at the pool, I had to check in with the hotel staff twice before receiving half of our order (which might I add was cold!!) - I had to go to the restaurant for the third time to make a complaint to the manager who was apologetic and cancelled our food that didn't arrive - they offered nothing else and considering we paid over €1000 for the room expected a little bit more -1* In addition to this the cleaners took food from our room (which we left a note asking to keep!) and left it outside which attracted ants, not ideal when trying to enter the room. The onlythe plus side on day 3 was that my fiance booked a facial which she said was excellent, respect to the spa staff who are so kind and great at what they do, she recommended using their services +1 star. I really hope that the service improves during the remainder our stay as this hotel has arguably one of the best views in Bodrum and it would be a shame to rate this a 2* Day 4: after voicing our feedback to the front office manager (Nurdan) and the restaurant manager (Mina), we saw the service vastly improve. This was such a contrast from day 3, staff were much more attentive and no chasing required. In addition staff were proactive, making sure that our needs had been met. We were offered a free meal at the restaurant by Mina, this was very kind of him and loved that he was proactive in ensuring the remainder of our stay was stress free. I have to say Mina really did go above and beyond for us and we really appreciated that - thank you Mina. In addition the front of house manager regularly checked in to make sure everything was ok. For example we emailed beforehand explaining that we had gotten engaged in Cappadocia before arriving to the hotel. Unfortunately we did not receive any emails back from the hotel but Nurdan made up for this by providing us a fruit platter on the morning of day 5 - thank you Nurdan. +1 Star Day 5: checkout was nice and easy, itemised breakdown provides upon arrival to the desk, however two small things: 1 we told front desk our check out time but no one came to collect our bags, slightly annoying but no big deal. 2. Checkout was quick and easy so on that basis +1* Staff working at the hotel are always so friendly and greet you with a smile. Security at the hotel is also on point, ensuring that you check in and out when leaving the hotel, this ensures not anyone can walk into the hotel grounds and gave us peace of mind.

The best hotel in Bodrum! Very close to the marina where all the action is. Excellent service, spacious rooms and great food!

This is a high en luxury hotel that is definitely up to the standard. Very well trained staff and top of the line facilities and infrastructure. Gym is on the small side but still all the equipment is top of the line TechnoGym. The Spa is also wonderful. The pool is beautiful and also great to spend the afternoon with beautiful private cabanas. The breakfast is one of a kind with all the local natural food.

I really enjoyed my stay at allium Bodrum. The service was really good and all of the staff were very competent. It’s a perfect place to relax and switch off. The food was amazing and everything was very fresh. Every time I had a request they tried their best to accommodate it. Special shout out the waiters in the restaurant especially to Ateş, who I enjoyed talking to in German. The heated pool and Spa area is another plus?.

We were staying in Allium in the end of April 2021. The territory of the Hotel is not very big but very convenient. The room was clean and tidy. Furniture is new. The breakfast was amazing. We have never tried such tasty Menemen :) also there is a huge infinity pool with heating. Staff was polite and hospitable. 5 points out of 5 to beautiful Allium resort. We would love to come back again

After so many years of endless travel, finding a five-star boutique hotel that delivers on its promise is simply a delight. Allium Bodrum is a boutique resort hotel with only 36 rooms on the Bodrum peninsula, Yalikavak in Turkey. It is exceptionally well maintained, delivers excellent personal service and leverages its aspect to provide the perfect relaxing holiday. The team have amazing energy and vibe. The staff are always happy to talk and share wonderful stories and recommendations of their country. Nothing is too complicated; the whole team work seamlessly together. You can feel the energy and enjoyment they have working at Allium. Cliff Bodrum is the hotel restaurant and bar, and this is where the food doesn't get sidelined by the view. Yes, you'll enjoy simply beautiful blood orange and red sunsets that take your breath away or lunches enjoying the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner; all standout meals. Firstly, the breakfast is à la carte (very refreshing for a hotel). After so many average buffets, it was a blessing to experience breakfast on a whole new level, your choice instead of a traditional Turkish breakfast (which tends to be quantity over quality). We are talking about every item being cooked to order in an amazing open plan kitchen, freshly prepared by a passionate team of gourmet chefs. Enjoying your lunch with a cool breeze while soaking up that extraordinary view with a glass of wine, what's not to enjoy? Service is excellent and cannot be faulted. Exquisite dinner with a fantastic sunset, yes, please! A very extensive wine list covering all regions of the world, while more premium pricing, you'll find some gems in the list that are very well priced. The wine list is the only area we can fault with pricing exceeding the quality of the wines. However, you can delve into the list and pick a lovely wine to complement your meal. The decor of the resort, think Hamptons style, contemporary furniture that is immaculately maintained. The infinity pool is divine, with plenty of lounges, day beds, cabanas and even areas to sit in the shade while enjoying that stunning view of the turquoise Aegean sea. The service at the pool was again perfect, with chilled water on offer and served by the ever-attentive team. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully designed, with a heavenly bed with the highest quality of linens and uninterrupted views. You are spoilt with Molton Brown amenities and thoughtful touches on arrival with beach wraps and flip flops. We stayed during the shoulder season, and the value proposition is perfect, and it is peaceful and spacious. During the summer season, based on the resort's size, the facilities will cater to all comfortably as well. The location of the resort has a remote and private feel. Still, you are only a short 15-minute walk along the seaside into Yalikavak, where you have a bunch of beach clubs, restaurants and a world-class marina with an abundance of designer brands, such as Louis Vuitton, Dior and Valentino and much more. Allium Bodrum is the perfect resort for your relaxing getaway. From the moment you step into this magical resort to the moment you leave, you are in paradise. You are indulged with mouthwatering welcome treats and a farewell gift, a small lavender tree to take with you and plant as a reminder of your magical stay and help the environment. We will be back; this is a getaway that you must enjoy again.
