Arta kalan zamanlarda da ikinci bir iş yapmak zorunda kalırlardı. Henüz belediyelerimiz bu kadar işlevsel ve tecrübeli olmadığı, cami temizleme ekipleri bulunmadığı zamanlarda mahallenin ablaları, teyzeleri belirli aralıklarla camileri dip köşe bucak temizlerlerdi. Korananın olduğu, insanların cami içine girmeye korktuğu, bahçede namaz kılmak zorunda olduğu şu zamanda en azından cuma günleri eline bir fırça alıp bahçeyi süpüremezmisin kıymetli hocam.
