★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For foreigners, there is always an anxiety because of the police officers who single you out, restrains for 15 minutes... Take your picture while at it. Its like a stop and frisk.
Very displeasing and ineffective.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was thinking it is like a metro train whenever you go you will find a train but the reality there is specific dates you have to apply on it
But the terminal and the stuff it looks like an airport terminal

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ankara Gar is everything a good station should be. Spotlessly clean. Staff are helpful and friendly but find my English a challenge. The YHT is a good economic way to travel . At Ankara end it reaches expected speeds 250 kph +, but much slower towards Istanbul. I enjoyed the ride though. Much better than airport hassle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Because of the pandemic situation it was almost empty but even before corona when I have visited it it's organise, clean and easy to oriented. My recommendation is to buy the tickets online in order to skip the hard time with mostly only speaking Turkish personel. The trains are clean, compy and fast. There is WiFi on board, also free water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great train station, the trains were accurate and really cheap, you can access few cities around Turkey using this fast train (210 kmph). Service providers were not good at English as other Turkish people.
