★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gerede merkeze çok yakın ve oldukça yüksek bir rakımda bir yer. Ankara'da hava 36 dereceyken burada 21 derece ve oldukça serindi.
Artıları;
Orman içinde bir yer ve piknik yürüyüş için çok güzel ve doğal. Havası serin ve çok temiz. Su bulabiliyorsunuz.
Eksileri;
Orman içinde olsa da yayla köyünün bitişiğinde olduğu için yarı köy yarı orman havası var yani çok sakin ve dingin değil. Yollar çok kötü, arabanız yere yakınsa ve yoldaki büyük çukurların birini gözden kaçırırsanız altı yere kötü bir şekilde sürtebilir, burası için bence arazi aracı daha uygun. Wc yok, gölet yakında çöp konteynırı yok. İnsanımız çöpünü köyde bulunan konteynerlara taşıyamadığı için ormanın içi çöplük ve tuvalet olmuş malesef. Hafta içi dahi yoğundu, kalabalık diyebilirim. Fotoğraflara bakıp göl beklemeyin, var olan küçük bir su birikintisi. Heryerde olduğu gibi ormanın içine gelip de çevresine 1 saat Ankara havası dinleten görgüsüz, saygısız, kültürsüz tipler mevcut.
Gerede is a place very close to the center and at a very high altitude. While the weather was 36 degrees in Ankara, it was 21 degrees and quite cool here.
Pros;
It is a place in the forest and it is very beautiful and natural for picnic walking. Its air is cool and very clean. You can find water.
Cons;
Even though it is in the forest, because it is adjacent to the plateau village, it has a half village and half forest air, so it is not very calm and serene. The roads are very bad, if your car is close to the ground and you miss one of the big potholes on the road, it can drive badly in six places, I think an off-road vehicle is more suitable for this. No WC, no waste container near the pond. Unfortunately, because our people could not carry their garbage to the containers in the village, the inside of the forest was a garbage dump and a toilet. It was busy even on weekdays, I can say crowded. Do not wait for a lake by looking at the photos, it is a small pond that exists. As everywhere, there are vulgar, disrespectful and uncultured characters who come into the forest and listen to Ankara air for an hour.

Son 20 yıldır tanınmasıyla birlikte beton yığınları oluşmaya başladı. Piknikçilerin bir kısmı, heryerde olduğu gibi burada da çöplerini toplamıyorlar malesef.
It is a place that I can recommend with its cool and clean air. It is a charming highland surrounded by greenery in my hometown Gerede. For 40 years, I have been collecting mushrooms etc. in the forests and benefiting from plenty of oxygen. With its recognition for the last 20 years, concrete piles have begun to form. Unfortunately, some of the picnickers do not collect their garbage here, as they do everywhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buraya gitmek isterseniz ,Gerede den Kayak Eğitim Merkezi yolunu kullanmanızı tavsiye ederim.Yol düzgün ve Urumşa(Rumşah) yaylasına 1-2 km ye kadar asfalt.WC yok,İçme suyu için çeşme var. Çöpünüzü yanınızda götürmeniz ve iniş yolda ki çöp konteyneri görene kadar yanınızda taşımanız gerekir.31 Ağustos-1 Eylül 2019 tarihlerinde 2 gece çadır kurdum.Çok sessiz ve çok ıssızdı.Bende başka çadır kuran yoktu.Üstümde termal+Polar+yağmurluk,altımda polar,ayaklarımda çorap ve bot olduğu halde akşam ve gece üşüdüm.2. gece ateş yakmak zorunda kaldım.O zaman yatana kadar daha iyi oldu.Bu arada termal çorabınızda olursa daha iyi olur.
If you want to go here, I recommend you to use the Ski Training Center from Gerede. The road is smooth and there is no asphalt.WC up to 1-2 km to Urumşa (Rumşah) plateau, there is a fountain for drinking water. You have to take your trash with you and carry it with you until you see the garbage container on the descent road. I was cold in the evening and night even though there were socks and boots. had to light the fire at night.It was better until time to bed.In the meantime it is better if it is in your thermal stocking.
