Helpful approachable personel, I recommend.

The helpful employee set up my phone with the turkcell SIM. The current charge for Tourist Welcome pack 20gb data for one month plus SIM is 350 TL. I received a receipt. The data is working well, no hassles.

The services were fine. Everything worked out smoothly. My problem is (as usual in many businesses in Turkey) with customer support. As a tourist here, I had bought a temporary phone number as they call it from Turk Telekom (Istanbul branch). Turns out the employee in Istanbul, thinking we would probably leave the country and never come back, used my passport unlawfully and added two additional phone numbers under my name. That happens, I don't blame the company for that some individuals can be rotten and corrupt, normal. But my problem is, they didn't apologize. Instead they said: "since you have 3 numbers now under your name, we can't give you an additional number. We know you didn't know about the two other numbers, so we have cancelled them for you. But you cant buy a new number now". No apologies, no attempts to solve the situation, NOTHING (instead they said I can complain to the police if I don't like it). I was just amazed ! Their customer service was just unreal. Otherwise, everything was fine lol
