Turan Hill Lounge

I’ve travelled all over the world and this is one of my absolute favourite places! A true gem tucked into the hillside. Magical, healing place with amazing views, welcoming staff, delicious food, adventures to be found by hiking to the waterfall or Paradise Beach. All of it is just so so so amazing. Have told my friends and will be back again soon! Thanks for creating this heaven on earth ✨

Beautifully located and designed, well maintained cabin site. The quality of the cabins are worth the price, tastefully decorated (rustic chic) and comfortable. The food is exquisite and the lounge view breath-taking.

I have been to Turan Hill Lounge 2 times - first in the summer of 2015 and just now in summer 2021 and both of my stays were great! It's really a gem up on the mountain (but the walk to the beach is just 5-8 minutes). Ideally one should go by car cause the mountain road can make you a bit sick on a minibus. Almost all the rooms have a nice view, I stayed at Calcifer and Zeytin and the mountain + sea view was gorgeous! Although I went in July which is high summer, I prefer the rooms without the air-condition but just the fan, as the fan is totally good enough at night, whereas the AC can freeze you while sleeping. Service, food, and cocktails are amazing. Homemade healthy Turkish food. I don't think its so much kid friendly as there aren't any activities, but great alone, as a couple, and friends. In the evenings there are some bars down the road which play music and serve drinks; we definitely got drunk a few times :) The staff is super friendly and helpful. Our sneakers got totally wasted after the hike to the waterfall and they even washed those (of course with a charge). The only downside is the beach. The water is clear blue, great temperature and very beautiful - no negative comments there - but the beach is a bit under maintained. Ofcourse this has nothing to do with Turan Hill Lounge as its a public beach. Make sure to have sea shoes though, as the rocks can really burn or hurt your feet. All in all - great experience both times, and I am sure to come back :)

I stayed for 9 days at Turan Hill and I left with pain in my heart for not having booked it for longer! The place is absolutely amazing and a hidden gem, standing at a beautiful place in the mountains overlooking the Kabak bay. With the beach, by the way, being just a few minutes walking from the hotel. My bungalow was comfortable and clean, the views from the restaurant were beautiful, the food was DELICIOUS and the staff were so kind and friendly and made me feel very cared for! I went to kabak to avoid the touristic areas and I found in Turan the perfect place to relax! I can’t wait to come back!

we spent 6 days here and it was a blast! This place is like a hidden gem which is near to beach and also middle of nowhere where you can relax and be in nature - due to the location and no light pollution the sky is always clear and you can see the stars and even the milky way. our night sky photos were just amazing. we had a nice balcony where in the evenings we watched movies under the amazing star ceiling. they have delicious food open buffet and a very kind staff!!

Turan Hill Lounge was a magical place for a romantic and relaxing getaway. Far away from city life, it is located in a wild and beautiful valley with magnificent forested mountains all around and a lovely pristine beach below. The bungalows are lovely, each with a unique decor. The people who run the place are like a warm family, everyone extremely helpful and pleasant and patient and kind. The food is beyond amazing. Breakfast and dinner is included in the room price and there is something for everyone. Fresh local breakfast options of all sorts, and a delicious spread of at least 10 homemade dishes for dinner, including meat, fish, vegetarian, and vegan options. The whole operation was incredibly impressive. The views from the terrace restaurant are breathtaking. It is suitable for people of all ages, just be warned that you have to climb at least 3 flights of steep stairs to get from the beach to the restaurant, so it is definitely a leg workout. And there are many beautiful hiking trails, including a 3-hour round too hike to a waterfall in the valley where you can take a dip in a natural pool. It is a little tricky to get to Kabak bay, but the hotel can arrange a pickup and drop off to the nearest airport or elsewhere.

A truly unique place - with vibes that you will otherwise only find in Asia. One of the best things besides the location is the food. The dinner is really high-class with a huge choice of healthy, good dishes. Most of the team-members are not very pro-active or chatty, but always available when you need something. The rooms are super-cute, but can be noisy at night sometimes. So better bring eyemask and ear plugs if you are a light sleeper like me - the curtains do not block out the sunlight in the morning.

I‘ve spent wonderful days in Turan Hill Lounge. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and caring. The food was super delicious, offering a different variety each day. The rooms are kept simple but have everything you need to live a simple life in the mountains and by the sea. The balcony was super chill with a breathtaking view, depending on which room you are staying you see the mountains or the ocean. The Kabak Beach near Turan Hill Lounge is clean and even has a small cave. I am really looking forward to coming again!
