We were picked up at the hotel, upon arrival they put us on horses and immediately took off, without any explanations or time to let the animal get comfortable. The conditions were very unsafe and not under control by the couple of guides by foot. Not a professional place and at the end we turned back after 15 minutes off the horses and the guide just said “well at least you didn’t fall”. Needless to say we were very upset and it’s by no means the first time we ride horses. Long story, only 15 minutes into the ride my horse was very unsettled and my husbands even more so, there was only one guy by foot trying to dominate my husbands horse because it was clear he was not tame or stable. When my horse got out of control we got off and went back to the farm by foot. I Do not recommend it, felt very insecure and I’m not a conservative person, I love adventure and risk, but this was bad and I’m certain would have ruined the rest of our trip.
