Tatvan Park Hotel

We spent 3 wonderful nights with our team of 16 people, with friendly staff, helpful staff and the nice hospitality of the owner of the hotel. We recommend it to everyone.

The hotel is in the center of Tatvan. It is very close to the Van lake. Staff are very helpful in every way. Rooms were very clean. But the most important plus was the breakfast, it was very diverse and delicious. Good luck to the friend who prepared it, he adds hot, hot pie as it's finished. There is also a breakfast with plenty of local products. Thank you to the whole team for everything.

The location of the hotel is very ideal, right in the center of tatvan, it overlooks the van lake. The rooms are very clean and the furnishings are brand new. The breakfasts are varied and very tasty. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They helped us carry our stuff, we got out of the hotel a little late, they didn't even mind. Since the hotel is a complete family hotel, you can stay in peace, no doubt in your mind. If you are going to stay in Bitlist, I definitely recommend it. We will definitely visit again..

My comment may sound a bit offensive to some, sorry for that. It was a luxury hotel for Tatvan with its facilities and general atmosphere. But there are many problems, some of which can be solved quickly and some that are impossible to solve. The most important problem: You have to enter the hotel by a very narrow staircase, the entrance of the hotel is on the mezzanine of the building, not on the ground floor (there is no elevator). Owners should buy at least one of the street level shops in the medium term and include it in the hotel. Secondly, the room we stayed in was on the fifth (top) floor and it was quite cold for March. I guess this was related to the insulation of the building rather than the heating system, because the people staying in the other floors and rooms were complaining of excessive heat. Another problem is that due to the narrowness of the building, only a small elevator could be built, which causes quite a long waiting time for the elevator, even if the number of guests staying in the hotel is small. Other problems include squeaky doors, high toilet seat, limited number of sockets. To say something on the positive side, one detail that I appreciated was the unintentional serving of tea while sitting in the lobby. This showed me that unlike the places in the west that don't even offer a cup of tea for less than 10-20 TL, the people of the east have a lot of heart.
