Nice stop and interesting view of the salt lake. Entrance is free after passing a barrier of about 10 sales persons who want to sell you everything.

A good photo stop. No entrance fee. However, sales persons haunt you to buy local products :)

If you're driv8ng past - stop in. If you're not - don't bother going specifically. A good roadstop with toilet market restaurant etc and the salt lake. Busy - touristy. The 'museum' is really just a shop.

The salt lake was perfect. It is basically salt covered with half a meter of water. It's is like that till a very very far distance. I loved the lake. It's calming. But, at some points of time, you can feel dizzy because everything around you is just the same, and of the same depth and color. The more you walk towards the middle, the cleaner the salt gets. You can pick some crystals from the floor or take some water with you, as it is salty, definitely good for relaxing your feet in. I highly recommend you taking some sort of very light slippers or a sticky nylon socks with you. Walking on the salt is very difficult and it kindof Pierce through the skin. The restaurants near the lake are very very expensive. A meal is thrice it's price or more than that. I highly recommend you take your own sandwiches or food with you. Moreover, you should definitely take a souvenir with you if you like to keep a symbol for your memories. You can buy it from the market near the lake. (That market has like 2 restaurants, a souvenir shop or two, separate praying areas for men and women, and toilets (WC)). The WC charge was 1.5tl. They have a lot of tissue papers by which you can clean the salt out of your clothes. But I highly recommend you bring an extra set of clothes because the salt marks or whatever reappears after a while, unless you "wash" it properly. Three hours is enough for the lake. There are a couple of baseless chairs placed in the lake where you can sit and take pictures. Good for bridal photoshoots. I hope you enjoy your trip:)
