★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mezun olduğum ilkokul. Bahçesinde çıkrıklı kuyusu ve zeytin ağaçları, geniş-toprak bahçesi ile hayal gibi bir okuldu. Sınıfların tahta zemini her yıl mazotlanır, okullar açıldığında mis gibi mazot kokardı.. Önce arsasını başka okula verdiler, ardından ek binalar yaptılar, bahçeye beton döküp içine ettiler. Ama ana bina hala eskisi gibi duruyor. Hatırladığım kadarıyla, 1920’li yıllarda 1200 Osmanlı altınına yaptırılmış. Arka bahçesinde 1. Dünya savaşından kalma iki adet devasa deniz mayını var. Ama gerek boyayarak, gerekse üstüne sacdan çanak koyarak maymuna çevirmişler.
The primary school I graduated from. It was a dream school, with a well with a spinning wheel and olive trees in its garden, and a wide-earth garden. The wooden floors of the classrooms are made of diesel every year, and when the schools are opened, it smells like diesel. First they gave the land to another school, then they built additional buildings, poured concrete in the garden and filled it in. But the main building still looks the same as before. As far as I remember, it was built in the 1920s for 1200 Ottoman gold coins. He has two huge sea mines from World War I in his backyard. But they turned it into a monkey by both painting it and putting a plate made of metal on it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okul olarak Milas ın beğendim okullarından biri, ancak yıllardır milli ve resmi bayramlarımızda büyük Türk bayrağının yanına büyük Atatürk resmi asmıyorlar, bir yanlışlık veya ihmal olduğunu düşünmüyorum, idarenin bilinçli tercihi sanırım.
As a school, it is one of the schools I liked in Milas, but for years they have not hung the big Atatürk picture next to the big Turkish flag on national and official holidays, I do not think there is a mistake or negligence, I think it is the conscious choice of the administration.
