★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Biga - Antalya Bisiklet Turumun 10. Gününde Efes Antik Kentini gezmek için geldim ve Müze Kart sayesinde sorunsuzca içeri girdim. Burasını hep fotoğraflardan gördüğüm için canlı olarak karşımda durmaları beni çok etkiledi. Burası görülmeye ve sokaklarda kaybolmaya değecek bir yer.
 Biga - Antalya I came to visit the ancient city of Ephesus on the 10th day of my tour and I entered the museum card smoothly. I was very impressed by the fact that I always saw this place in front of me. This is a place worth seeing and getting lost on the streets.

U biçimindeki dinlenme ve gezinti holleri yapının kuzeyindeki hamam salonlarını çevrelemektedir. Dört sıra oturma basamakları bulunan güneydeki tribünlü avlu (palaestra) hem bedensel hem de zihinsel faaliyetlere hizmet etmekteydi.
M.S. Around 125 a building called 'Theater Gymnasion' was built to the northwest of the theatre. This building, which is larger than 12.000 m², is an Ephesus type bath-gymnasion building complex. U-shaped resting and excursion halls surround the bathing halls in the north of the building. The tribune courtyard (palaestra) in the south with four rows of sitting steps served both physical and mental activities.

Directly north of the Magnesian Gate, at the foot of Mount Panair, is the Ephesus Gymnasium. The Vedius Gymnasium is famous for its huge hall, dressing room, bathrooms characteristic of that time. This gymnasium was of sports and cultural importance for the city.
Built as a sauna and gymnastic complex around the 2nd century AD, it was one of the largest buildings in Ephesus, where young boys could go to get education and play sports.
