★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was really a pleasant experience to visit this grocery store for us. At the very beginning we just wanted to buy some typical souvenirs for our friends and colleagues in Germany. And it was already the last night before we left Anatolia. So before we had dinner we just hung around aimlessly and bumped into this lovely store.
The store must be run by a family, coz one will have that kinda just-like-home feeling immediately when entering in. The owners are very warm-hearted and always ready to help. We got a lot of advice for the gifts for our friends and even for ourselves. Palatable oil-cured olives, homemade mountain cheese from kurdish region (taste more or less like the formaggio cheese from Südtirol), homemade pastry and jam, and all one can image to take as souvenirs. We can just recommend this grocery store for whom wanna buy turkish specilities and occasionally live nearby.
