NURETTİN ARDIÇOĞLU 1914-1982 He was born in Harput in 1914. After completing his primary and secondary education in Harput, Izmir, Teaching School, he graduated from the Gazi Institute History Department in Ankara and then from the Istanbul Faculty of Law. ARDIÇOĞLU was appointed as a secondary school teacher in İzmir to his civil service life and taught History, French and English. Later, ARDIÇOĞLU was assigned to Elazığ and worked as a history and French teacher at Elazığ Secondary School. Having completed his compulsory service in teaching ,ARDIÇOĞLU resigned and started journalism in Istanbul. He held various positions in Tanin and Cumhuriyet Newspapers. For a while he published a newspaper called Doğu Post in Elazig. Finding himself in politics during his law internship in Istanbul, ARDIÇOĞLU served in various positions in the National Development Party and later in the Millet Party in 1950.
