★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On my own, I would probably not have entered - but I was lucky to be in the company of two Turkish friends who knew the büryan here is not to be missed.
If you ask, they will show you the goats and lambs being steamed in a large earthenware vessel buried under the floor, in the back of the shop.
The juicy steamed meat is served on flat bread with tomatoes, salad, onions, capsicum etc. and some more bread on top. It could hardly be simpler ...
