Bu türbenin yapımını temiz, hanedandan, Sayın Hanımefendi Şah Kutluğ Hatun, iki rahmetli oğlu Bahşayış ve Haydar Beyler için, emretti. -Allah gölgesini üstümüzden eksik etmesin- diye dua edilmektedir. Burası, bir aile mezarlığıdır. Bir bey ailesinden gelen bu hatun, ana olarak yavrularını mezarda bile kanatları altına almak istediğini göstermektedir. Kutlu Hatun'un mermer mezar taşı, 1935 yılında türbesinden alınarak, MÜZE deposu durumunda olan Mehmed Zengi Türbesi'ne konmuştur. Kutluğ Hatun Tomb/Vault has a privileged place among the cupolas in Kayseri due to its portal and the decorations on it. It is located in the Gavremoğlu District in the city center of Kayseri, east of Hunat Hatun Mosque. It was built by Shah Kutluğ Hatun in 1349. The General Directorate of Foundations repaired this tomb and demolished the surrounding structures. Among the cupolas of Kayseri, it draws attention with its portal. The entrance door is surrounded by two strips of geometric moldings. The door niche is again protruding, formed by geometric and floral motifs. Truly a masterpiece of its kind.
