Cinnamon and clove bread is legendary. I advise. 2021 price is 6 TL. Get it sliced. Whole wheat.

Fazla etli ekmek seven biri olmadığım halde karanfilli ekmek almaya gittiğimizde (gezi bloglarında görmüşsünüzdür illa ki, gerçekten güzeldi) hep dolu olduğunu görünce meraktan oturduk. Fark ettiyseniz kötü yorumların çoğu bayram döneminde yapılmış, zaten bayram sırasında Datça mahşer yeri gibi olur hiçbir yerde dört dörtlük hizmet alamazsınız. Geçen akşam gittiğimizde işletme sahibi ile tanıştık, bize yeni el değiştirdiklerini ve birkaç hafta içinde yeni ekip kurduklarını vs. anlattı, sohbeti güzeldi. Genel olarak pidelerini daha başarılı buldum, özellikle yarı açık olan vardı bir tane adını şimdi hatırlayamadığım. Benim aksime et meraklısı iseniz bir ziyaret edin :D
Even though I'm not much of a meat loaf lover, when we went to buy clove bread (you must have seen it on travel blogs, it was really good), we sat there out of curiosity when we saw that it was always full. If you have noticed, most of the bad comments were made during the holiday season, Datça is like the place of judgment during the holiday, you can't get full service anywhere. We met the owner when we went last evening, he told us that they had just changed hands and set up a new team in a few weeks etc. he told me, his conversation was good. In general, I found their pide more successful, especially the half-open one, whose name I can't remember now. If you are a meat lover, pay a visit :D

Gelen bütün zamlardan nasibini alsa da yine de misafirlerim geldiği zaman burayı tavsiye ediyorum .
Even though it gets its share from all the hikes, I still recommend this place when my guests come.

Etli ekmek masaya geldiğinde soğumustu. Lezzeti güzel fakat soğuk pek tadına varamadık. Kalabalık olmamasına rağmen servis sıkıntısı var. 1,5 etli pide 2 ayran 59tl
The meat loaf was cold when it came to the table. The taste is good, but we could not taste it cold. Although not crowded, there is a shortage of service. 1,5 pita with meat 2 ayran 59tl

Daha datça'ya geldiğimiz ilk gün ilk yemek yediğimiz yer oldu. Eşimle birlikte etli ekmek söyledik oturduğumuz masa ile pidenin piştiği fırın arası herhalde 10-15 metre civarıydı. Etli ekmekleri masaya soğumuş vaziyette nasıl getirebildiklerini halen düşünüyorum ? 1,5 porsiyon etli ekmek ve 2 küçük ayrana 58 tl ödedik ? Datçada 7 gece 8 gün kaldık bir daha da gitmedik. Genel olarak pek profesyonel bir işletme değil. Ekmek fırını kesmemiş sanırım yan bölüme de pideci açalım yürüyelim gidelim demişler gibiydi ?
It was the place where we ate for the first time on the first day we came to Datça. My wife and I ate meat loaf and the distance between the table we sat and the oven where the pita was baked was probably around 10-15 meters. I still wonder how they can bring meat loaves to the table in a cold state ? We paid 58 TL for 1.5 portions of meat bread and 2 small buttermilk ? We stayed in Datça for 7 nights and 8 days and we never went again. It's not a very professional business in general. I guess the bread oven didn't cut it, it was like they said let's open a pide shop in the side section, let's go for a walk ?

Etli ekmek maalesef "az" etli ekmekti. Mezeler zayıf ve pek lezzetli değildi. Dışarıda yerseniz, rüzgardan masadaki peçete ve kağıtlar uçabiliyor. En azından onları atmak için bir kutu olabilir.
Meat bread was unfortunately "less" meat bread. The appetizers were weak and not very tasty. If you eat outside, napkins and papers on the table can be blown away by the wind. At least there might be a box to throw them away.

Portakallı kurabiye ve simitleri çok güzel ancak üst düzey bilinen midye baklavanın içine beklemiş, nemlenmiş, kokmuş ceviz koymak nedir. Hediye almıştım bir de. Yiyemedik. Asla baklava filan almam bir daha.
Orange cookies and bagels are very nice, but what is it like to put moist, stinky walnuts inside the well-known mussel baklava? I also got a gift. We couldn't eat. I will never buy baklava again.

As an American, traveling here, I am fully aware of the large amount of muslim people and the rules of their religion. I guess I expected... better... when I came here to Turkey. And 99.9999% of the time, the people, in Turkey, are very welcoming, open-minded, and kind. Anyways, here's the story: As soon as we entered the shop (my girlfriend and I) I said I need to use the bathroom, so I kissed my girlfriend, and then went to the bathroom while she chose some pastries. However, when I left the bathroom, I found my girlfriend outside of the shop, very upset, and slightly frightened. The men working behind the counter treated her terribly and made her feel awful because someone kissed her in public. She was distraught for hours after that confrontation. So, if you are into that sort of thing, this place is great! But, if you aren't, I wouldn't advise going here.
