Inonu Highland Campground

One of my favorite highlands. There are many activities that can be done. Its road is good by both Pamukova and Serindere. There are 2 caves. One is too small. The other is big. There is a lake at the bottom. Although it was a little risky, I went all the way. I shared their images on my YouTube channel.

I recommend it if you want to be in a quiet place alone with nature. There is only water in the plateau. The nearest village for food and drink is Hüseyinli village, 17 km away.

İnönü Plateau It is a plateau surrounded by huge fir trees at an altitude of 1100 m on the southern skirts of Kartepe on the border of Kocaeli Sakarya. Transportation can be provided by both Yuvacık and Pamukova. You can even go for a day from Istanbul. There is a beautiful road that can be reached in 45 minutes from Yuvacık. Camping and picnicking can be done easily as a family in its wide meadows. The plateau has a fountain that flows like ice. There is also a toilet. The rocky hill formed by a landslide in the middle of the plateau is its characteristic feature. There are interesting trees in the forest. Be sure to see the tree inscribed with Allah at the head of the fountain. There are also wild strawberries under the trees :) The only negative aspect of the plateau is the gun-squeezing disease of those who come to the camp. @yaydaizler

Visually an ordinary plateau. For those coming from Kocaeli, the road is not so bad. It will be an important warning for those who will stay with the family. During the day and night, the sound of guns and rifles can disturb and frighten, almost everyone has a firearm and they shoot. The nearby ercova plateau is quieter in this respect. One or two cabins were built as toilets on the İnönü plateau, but they are very primitive and inadequate. As wild animals, jackals come to the tents late at night. I did not come across any other wild animal. Overall not bad for a stay.

There is a road construction on the way from Kocaeli to the plateau. Those coming from Istanbul can reach it more easily if they come via Pamukova. The environment is beautiful, the whole place is green, plenty of oxygen makes a detox effect. but everywhere there are leftovers of people such as garbage, empty bottles, empty buckets. be a little animal bro. Every person throws a gun, shouts, turns up the music to the fullest, as if they were relieved of the pressure on them, I think they should be treated.

We went camping for one night in July. The environment and nature are wonderful. It is the perfect place to relax and get away from the stress of the city. On the way, we went from Kocaeli side, the road was a little bad. We chose Pamukova on the way back, it is farther from Istanbul but the road is better. You can buy strawberries from the villages of Hüseyinli and Strawberry. The only negative thing in the highland camp is that ignorant people open fire and disturb the peace.

It is a recreation area in the Başiskele district of Kocaeli, which can be exited from the Yuvacık dam. The view of Yuvacik dam is wonderful. They said there is a toilet in the plateau, but I couldn't see it. Originally it belongs to Pamukova municipality. A wide plateau. Nature is great. Compared to the city center, the air temperature drops by 4-5 degrees. Very suitable for camping. But they shoot a lot of guns at night. There are traces of wild animals, but it seems that it is not easy to come across the animal. Those who have that much gunfire are also running away. There are only highland herds. They have a shepherd. Cattle, sheep, goats, lambs are wonderful during the day. There are fountains and streams for drinking water. The area is clean. Campers are constantly cleaning.
