Hotel Villa Mahal

Incredible location let down by overbearing and, frankly, creepy service towards the females in our party. Cocktails expensive - around £10. I wish they would forget the "free shots on the house" and silly snacks they kept bringing out and instead lower the main price a bit. It said a lot that, with literally everything going for it in terms of aesthetics, it was empty for the duration of our visit...

Honeymooned here in 2005 and was the pinnacle of month in Turkey. Those breakfasts and the putt putt boat to the 'town' to eat at one of the roof top restaurants, divine! Loved just diving off into the beautiful water from where our towels were to then return and it was a candlelit dinner. You will only understand that once you have experienced it!

My husband and I have stayed in the Cliff house, everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, it is just fabulous. The staff are wonderful and we are very much looking forward to staying there again.

Fantastic location, designed with the aesthetics of an era being poorly managed. We only dined there. Natural ambiance is breathtaking, food average; service pathetically poor. Not extremely pricey, still not cheap but definitely not deserving the money they charge. A very big disappointment. We were so ready to love everything. Without the view, it is a two star place; falling far short of its promise. Will never go for dinner again, and since this is strong indication; we have already changed our plans of a 5-nights stay there. Perhaps a week-end if we are in Kalkan; but nit a target property anymore. So sad. Need to change hands into more loving professionals.

It has the best service, the staff is very cooperative. Especially a guy named Mehmet Sarıgöde, he made our stay more special, he was very helpful, friendly and kind ??. Location and cleanliness is 100% the view is another story. I highly recommend it. Everything was perfect and wonderful. Definitely will go back again. We tried many other places in the area but Mahal was the best.

Excellent hotel- we stayed in the pool villa which had incredible sunset views over Kalkan. Great beach bar and restaurant. Very clean and comfortable rooms. A lot of steps to get to the restaurant and pool areas (so maybe not for everyone), but having an elevated position just added to the views.

Excellent hotel with excellent location located near the city center,extremely clean & comfortable. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! You will get the best view of kalkan sea, the best infinity private pools and the best sunset dinner by the sea. What guests need to know is that the rooms and villas are leveled on a mountain so there will be many steps between your rooms and the public pool, restaurant, reception and the beach. You will have to call the reception everytime for golf car ride unless you have a car.

Incredible location with the best views. The whole hotel is very romantic, perfect for couples. Be warned, the hike from the rooms down to the restaurant / water isn't for the faint hearted (it's 181 steps) but the view is worth it. The food at the restaurant is delicious (we tried most things on the menu) and they do excellent cocktails. The way the sun loungers are set up around the water is particularly nice -- each couple has a private little area to relax. And eating dinner right on the water can't be beaten.
