GIRDEV PLATEAU Girdev Lake, which is the only lake of Seydikemer at an altitude of 1800, has been the center of attention throughout history. 7 lion statues and historical artifacts have existed here until recently, treasure hunters missed the statues, 3 of them were moved to the Fethiye museum. It is at the top of the list of important bird areas in the world. There are 128 kinds of bird species that can be detected in the lake basin. Girdev Plateau; It is extremely suitable for nature sports such as photography, mountaineering, hunting, horseback riding, bird watching tours, jeep safari and highland tourism. However, the roads are stabilized and the bends are very dangerous especially at the sicakalan pass. It is not possible for two vehicles to pass side by side on the 800-meter, multi-curvy mountain climbing road. These roads need to be widened and paved.

If you come from the Gömbe side, asphalt until the village of Yeşilbarak, after which it is stabilized. The last 2 or 3 km of the stabilized road climbing the mountain and descending from the mountain to the lake is pretty bad, but I went here with my 98 polo car without hitting the bottom even when it was full. Be patient and go without battering your car, don't let your taste go. If you come from the Seki side, that road is relatively smooth and the road views are better. But this road is stabilized and more winding starting from Seki Temelköy. Again, you can easily cross these places without tiring your vehicle. We went to Girdev for camping. Definitely a place to be preferred in summer. You can come and camp here like a king instead of cooking on the beach in the summer. Don't leave without eating trout and roast lamb. Lamb roast is a bit expensive. There are facilities that make lamb roasts. You only need to give 1 day notice. Because the trout are grown in a relatively natural environment, they are larger and tastier. For your information, there is no phone reception outside of Turkcell. Also, if you are going to camp, bring at least two layers of blankets, even for the summer. Enjoy the cool and fresh air.

It is a nice place for picnics and camping. It has water and its air is cool.

This is what you call a plateau. There is no environment like in Anzer that has a greed for money to drive the visitors.
