Gerçekten görülmesi gereken bir yer. Yolları güzel. Otopark sorunu yok. İçeriye giriş ücretli. Müze kartımız olduğu için ücretini sormadık. Dünya üzerindeki yazılı ilk antlaşma olan Kadeş Antlaşmasının taraflarından birinin yerleşim yeri. Lakin hangi akla hizmetse İstanbul'da sergileniyor! Burada kalsın ki turist çekmesi açısından faydası olsun. Gerçi ülkemizde kalmış olmasına da şükretmek gerekir! Neyse, içerde çok ağaç yok. Serin bir havada gezmenizi tavsiye ederim. İçeriyi arabayla gezmeniz gerekiyor. Zira yaklaşık 5 kmlik rampalı bir parkur. Yol tek yön. Belli istasyonlar var. Bu istasyonlarda durup ören yerlerini, mimari yapıları gezip haritalardan bilgi öğrenebilirsiniz. Buraları gezip öğrendikçe o zamanın insanlarına hayret edeceksiniz. Şehre özel giriş çıkış yerleri, savunma sistemleri, kent mimarisi, yerleşim yerleri, ibadet yerleri, kraliyet konutları ve bunların konumları vs vs... Detaylı gezmek isterseniz temponuza göre 2-4 saatinizi alabilir. Bazı yerlerin görselleri de paylaşıyorum. Çıkışta kooperatif mağazaları var. El yapımı ürünler satılıyor. Burayla ilgili heykeller, kolye, bileklik vs şeyler.
It really is a must see place. The roads are beautiful. No parking problem. There is an entrance fee. Since we have a museum card, we did not ask for the fee. The settlement of one of the parties to the Kadesh Treaty, the first written treaty in the world. However, whatever reason it serves is exhibited in Istanbul! Let it stay here so that it will be beneficial in terms of attracting tourists. We should be thankful that he stayed in our country though! Anyway, there aren't many trees inside. I recommend you to travel in a cool weather. You have to go inside by car. Because it is a track with a ramp of about 5 km. The road is one way. There are certain stations. You can stop at these stations and visit the ruins and architectural structures and learn from the maps. As you travel and learn about these places, you will be amazed by the people of that time. Special entrances and exits to the city, defense systems, urban architecture, settlements, places of worship, royal residences and their locations, etc... If you want to visit in detail, it may take 2-4 hours depending on your pace. I also share pictures of some places. There are cooperative stores at the exit. Handmade items are sold. Sculptures, necklaces, bracelets etc. related to this place. In fact, it's a tourist dump. Local tourists can save by bargaining, but foreign tourists should be careful. The landscaping is adequate and clean. There is a WC at the entrance. There is no market inside, but it is available in the village where it is located. You still come prepared. While you are here, I recommend you to stop by Yazılıkaya and Alacahöyük. Close to Yazilikaya. About 3 km. The other is 50 km. Entrance there is paid or with a museum card. If you are interested in such places, be sure to stop by. No, even if you say you are just crossing the road, you can take a break and have a rest and experience by seeing different places.

Fantastic Hittite ruin from their ancient capital. A car is allowed as the ring road is over 6km and has some inclines. The sites are well laid out and marked. The nature and surrounding views were superb. Some of the highlights were hieroglyphics and sculptures still recognizable. The road was well maintained. The locals in the nearby village were friendly and helpful. This site is superb and I was alone in the entire area. Try that in Venice or Dubrovnik!
