★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please do not buy anything from this place. The tour company in Cappadocia are jointly operated with them so it will become a part of their tour. They charged me $55 for a piece of zultanit which can be bought for price of peanut in anyother place. When I bought 4 pieces of same quality stone in Mardin they charged me less than $55. I feel so gutted and angry. I will request everyone to avoid this place and travel agents to be honest on what they do.

I bought a gold necklace from them on September 20, 2019, they lied to me by its weight, it says 14.1 grams in the certificate, and when I got home and measured it it turned out to be 13.7 grams, so its price came out to $ 88 per gram. Fraudulent company, lie in the weight of their jewelry, cheat with the price, their employees are instructed to cheat customers! It is clearly the policy of the owners to cheat tourists shamelessly with the help of tourist guides, in my case Ilhan Karabulut, a representative of Sinbad tourism company, obviously against a percentage of fraud! Beware and buy nothing from Goreme Onyx!

It is not compulsory that you buy something but if you want to and if you can, there will be a guide with you who'll guide you all the way.

The place fascinated me, yes it is quite expensive but if you are good at negotiating it comes out very well with the pieces you like. I spent around $ 1000 usd and I have no regrets. Very sad that the guide tour did not tell us that we can find it less cheaper.
