Eski Yeni (Hasan Çelebi) Mosque, one of the historical mosques in Aydın, is within walking distance of the city center. There are historical buildings nearby, one street to the north.

It was built by Hasan Çelebi, brother of Uveys Pasha.It is a medium-sized Ottoman Mosque made of cut stone.

A FATHER AND THREE SONS IN GÜZELHİSAR Aydın Güzelhisar was adorned with palaces, inns, mosques, mosques, madrasahs and sibyan schools. On our journey, Evliya Çelebi and his travel book is our guide. (M 1568 - H 976) He served as the Central Revenue Office, Bodin Governorship, Chief Treasurer, Damascus, Haleb and Egypt Governorship in the Ottoman Empire. (H. 999-H.1590) He died in Egypt in the year of Recep. In the center of Güzelhisar, Ramazan Çelebi dedicated RAMAZAN PAŞA MOSQUE, Medrese and Public Fountain to the city. RAMAZAN PAŞA MOSQUE It is the symbol of the city today in the center of Güzelhisar. Ramazan Çelebi, who served as the Anatolian fiscal manager and the governor of Cyprus, is buried in Istanbul Vefada. The third brother, Hasan Çelebi, donated the HASAN ÇELEBİ MOSQUE and the madrasah, popularly known as the OLD NEW MOSQUE. Evliya Çelebimiz talks about the madrasah decorated with citrus trees and its precious platform. Hasan Çelebi, who was the judges of Thessaloniki, Mecca, Edirne, died when he was a Kadi of Edirne. A benevolent father and three sons left precious artifacts in Güzelhisar and migrated to the hereafter. May Allah have mercy, Ramazan Pasha, Veysi Pasha and Hasan Efendi districts name and their fellow townsmen remember these çelebils. This family left foundations for future generations and they are still standing ...

It is a very beautiful and historical mosque, its garden is also very beautiful. The toilets are a bit far and the entrance fee is very expensive 2 TL, and there is no toilet paper etc. Pity for the community.
