Booked a 6hour daily boat trip around the the different bays/beaches. Was wonderful! Definelty worth doing.. lunch on board their boat and plenty of 'drinks'! It was also a bit cheaper than the other tour companies offering the same trip. Will use them again. Just a shame i wasn't in Bodrum long enough to try out some of their other tours.. oh well, next time!

Ephesus rip off trip, it takes 2.5 hours to get to Ephesus from Bodrum, it took us 8 hours, I joke not. Basically this is a tourist trap. Picked up at hotel at 0550hrs and driven around picking up from other hotels for 1 hour, then taken to a roundabout next to a busy road and made to wait 1 hour, there are no facility’s here so you cannot buy a drink or use a toilet. When a 20 year old mini bus pulled up we were told to get on. After 1.5 hours we stopped at a road side petrol station where you could buy breakfast and pay to use a toilet. 45 minute stop here. Then onto a jewellery shop, only 1.5 hour stop here, I took a look at the cheap rubbish they were selling and googled the same items but better quality (ie instead of 14ct gold 18 and real diamonds) from Argos and Argos were about 50% cheaper. Back on the bus and we arrive at Ephesus around 12:30. The guide we had spoke poor English and was not engaging at all (we gave up and followed another guide who seemed much better). 1 hour 45minutes and time to leave. Lunch, hope you have a strong stomach because it was mainly rancid. All, any drinks including water you pay for. The que was so long late it took 25 minutes before you could eat. Then onto the next shop, pottery but only 1.5 hours here. You did have the option to go back to Ephesus to visit the Mary house (this was an additional charge) if you didn’t go you had to wait an hour and a half for those that did. You have to pay extra for this visit. Then there is a free for all on the buses back to Bodrum, we had to push our way onto a bus or we would have to wait for another. On the trip back we stop at the same petrol station for 20 minutes. Then we stopped at the side of the road whilst we waited for a car to come and collect 4 people from our bus to take them somewhere else. We eventually were dropped off 200m from our hostel (as the driver didn’t want to go out of his way to take us the whole way) at 2030hrs. This is a huge rip off don’t go near this company of these trips, either hire a car or take a direct bus there and back. Overpriced tourist trap that wasted an entire day of our holiday.

Poor is the only word that will describe our experience on the village tour which we took with Onelli tours. We were told that a air-condition bus would pick us up from our hotel, but it was a private car from the tour company. No air-conditioning but he did open the windows after about eight miles. He had to phone up somebody when we arrived at the farm to greet us. When the person arrived he explained that there was a wedding going on at the farm and so we would have our lunch now. We were shown into what I could only describe as a chicken house which we shared with 3 chickens. Chicken poo on the floor and the table runners were dirty, our driver shared our table with us which was great as he was able to explain what each of the dishes were and the four different breads. We were offered drinks, 2 waters, wine an a beer which when we finished we were told we could not leave the resturant till we had paid for the drinks. We were then shown somebody weaving and we had the different weaves they produced explained to us. Then we were then taken in to the warehouse where the carpets are stored. Now the hard sell started, it was just Iike a timeshare but with carpets, when he realised that we where not interested in buying we where shown outside and driven back to our hotel. We are 4 people from South Korea, and we used bicycles rental service. That is €20 without deposit (deposit is €50 per person) on a day basis. Bicycle rental staff was double checked our bicycles. And The hosts are very kind and nice. They let us know which place is better for riding bicycles. And they recommended really good restaurant for dinner. And they gave us kind of welcome drink. The hosts have very warm heart. We were satisfied. It is really good memory in Bodrum.

Pretty good place to buy your daily boat tickets, they work with both pirate and normal cruises. They also told me about their various of services Turkish bath, catamaran,aquapark and others so putting the details on the photos.
