Wasn’t sure about the restaurant as we found it randomly and it was past lunchtime so not a lot of people inside. Alas a very nice surprise. Yummy fresh food- highly recommend the mixed meat kebab and lentil soup ( the best lentil soup I’ve had in the city by far). Very welcoming staff. Will come again!

We loved the diverse range of dishes that included Turkish specials alongside international staples. The size of portions and the quality of food were also great. For the visitors don't miss out on the airy flatbread served with black olives paste as a complimentary starter. It's a typical Turkish appetizer but in this restaurant the olives paste has an extraordinary flavor & texture.

Really amazing experience, food is fresh and well priced! The owners treat you with respect and the food is genuinely really well presented and fresh! Really good food at a decent price considering the location. Complete opposite experience to Sofrasi which was the worst experience for me which I added a review. Amazing food and the shisha here is just as good! Would recommend to any tourist visiting from Europe like me (I am from London) ???

To foreign tourists, this place hard sells and “treats” people with huge portions and exorbitant bills. Pay attention. There are many good other options, avoid this place. This is totally a rip off. It devastated my Istanbul trip.

Decided to go to these restaurant as it was around my Hotel area, food was average at best. The waiter that serve us the meals was nice. After asking for the bill other guy came to our table with a POS, as we wanted to pay by card. Present us the bill and ask us the price!? After he was more direct and asked directly to tip in Spanish (Propina, propina!) We decided not to tip. The guy reacted rudely as went away without even saying goodbye or thank you.

The food and service are incredible! The interior is quite cozy and nice. One note: it's a bit pricey compared to other restaurants I've visited in Istanbul, but it totally worth it. Five stars!

RESOLVED: Below is my original review, than the owner contacted me below and apologized and we found a satisfying conclusion. Thank you for this correctness. I red many positive reviews of this place, so we decided to experience Turkish hospitality here. The food was decent, the bread freshly made the beer nicely served. Why the 2 stars? The waiter came and recommended us the Ottoman grill, we took his recommendation. At the end they brought the bill, it was 850 Lira (90 Euros) the waiter said 1000 lira and we are good. I only gave 900 which I still think to be too much, for a shared platter and 4 beers and a coke. I do not recommend this place, because I feel that I was ripped off not just with the food but also with the service.
