Which is a bad thing for a migration office but with google translate people are helpful
İt's just weird for a migration office not to have English speaking workers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I see many negative reviews here, which might not be always accurate. It's true the staff barely speaks English and the govt should definitely add some English speaking staff here. But I didn't find anyone rude, nor did I have to wait for too long while arriving precisely at the time I was sent in email (11:00AM on a Thursday)
But other than that everything was straight forward for me and I was able to submit my documents within 30 - 40 minutes of arrival and leave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I applied for one year residency and paid for one year but they only gave me 6 months. And they never refunded my money back. If you go there you are stuck for 3-4 hours just waiting by the way! Staff are rude and their system is soooooo bad and unorganized

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crowded place, careless staff, the security speaks Turkish even though most of the applicants are foreigners who do not know the Turkish language, shouting at people by the security men, no regard for health restrictions, I am the father of a student studying here and this is really a shock and a very bad experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At what place on earth you have to wait 3 hours in line to get an appointment that you can simply book online. Time is money. And this is a huge waste of time...regardless of the unclear instructions and how most of them only speak Turkish... But I guess Turkey can do better. I expected better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am writing as an individual who has been to the visa residence offices of many countries. I have been to the Ankara Provincial Immigration Office several times. Last time I went, I witnessed that the residence permit procedures were planned and programmed. There are many personnel who do their job professionally. There are translators who help foreigners who speak different languages. There are multiple points in the government office. There is a cashier where the permit fee is paid. Also, the last time I went, fingerprints There was a responsible Manager on the second floor. The professionalism and leading attitude of the manager once again invites you to the Republic of Turkey. Thank you Turkey
