★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Не выгодный курс обмена. Отказываются принимать платежи в рублях только в долларах при этом доллары не выдают - только лиры, в результате двойная конвертация вначале от короны, потом от них. Посчитайте затраты прежде чем переводить!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Берут комиссию при выдаче переводов, которой быть не должно. Если перевод в долларах - говорят «В наличии только лиры» и меняют по своему невыгодному курсу. Если перевод в лирах - «Только доллары», выдают доллары и тут же меняют их опять по своему невыгодному курсу на лиры. В общем, рекомендую использовать для получения переводов ПТТ, там выдают как положено.
They take a commission when issuing transfers, which should not be. If the transfer is in dollars, they say “Only lira is available” and change at their unfavorable rate. If the transfer in lira is “Only dollars”, they give out dollars and immediately change them again at their unfavorable exchange rate for lira. In general, I recommend using PTT for receiving transfers, they are issued there as expected.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Upd. Be careful, some people say there was a fee distracted from their money by local workers. With no receipt. Looks like a scam.
It's become a popular place recently, so l problems occur. The workers say they get a note from Ziraat bank that doesn't allow them to give all the dollars sent from abroad so they offer partly euros. To do this exchange they take the selling price for dollars, covert them into liras and then buy euros with those liras at a buying price, so it's quite unfavourable, so better get liras if you are planning to stay. I don't know which of what they explain is true, I hope it is. There's one that speaks good English, another one speaks Russian which is a plus. Still people don't really have much choice now, do they?
