Nice atmosphere, this place has some magical designs. On top of it, the food is traditional and quality. A little pricey comparing to the rest of the town.

Very friendly service. Took out a star for the traditional dish clay pot kebab. I think they can make it a bit better.

Food doesnt taste good. Menu is overpricy. Restaurant and toilets are very dirty

This place i loved 1st the hospitality ! Mr. Mecnun if he is still working there you should meet him! Just to talk woth him is so worthy to eat there! ☺️ He suggested us date ( hurma in turkish ) wine ? and said that this is not sale but the locals made it for themselves! And va la! He served us! I dont like normally wine taste because the taste is like a vinegar for me. But this one is easy to drink and the feeling is nameless. Anyway you can try to be friend with a local and maybe they will also serve you! ( iyi bir turist olursaniz belki sizde bu saraptan tadabilirsiniz! )? If you want to learnt the price of testi kebap; here let me tell you they are ok ?? 70 tl for two people! Worth it! Definitely ?? I love AVANOS ✨

Interesting place. The food for the price seemed lacking, but perhaps that's because we've come to expect a lot for our money in Turkey. Service was unexceptional, but not bad. We had the beef dinner for two cooked in a sealed clay pot. It was remarkable to see the waiter come out with a knife, score the pot around its rim, and then give it a sharp upward blow with the knife, taking the top cleanly off. The contents of the pot were then poured onto a plate over a burner. We weren't quite sure whether the stew was to be eaten by itself or on top of bread. The waiter had earlier brought a very long loaf of pita bread fresh from the oven. We tried eating it on top of the bread, but got amused glances from people at surrounding tables, so then we tried eating the stew by itself. It was good, with garlic cloves tomatoes, and other ingredients cooked with the cubed beef, but it didn't seem large enough to be the meal for two it was described as. The restaurant was strongly recommended to us, so I don't know if the problem is our perception of the food as Americans, or whether we hit it on an off night. But we were not overly impressed....

Testi kebob is very delicious, but expensive. 140TL for 2 people, but i seems for 1 person. but as the meat quality is very good, you can try!!
