Bu bağlamda oldukça önemli olan Yumuktepe Höyüğü, ziyaretçilerin ilgisini çekmektedir.
Yumuktepe Mound is one of the important ancient sites in Mersin city center. The region has been continuously evaluated as a settlement by people from the Neolithic period to the present day. The first researches in the region started in 1937 and after that, investigations continued at certain intervals. Yumuktepe Mound turned out to be one of the first places to cultivate figs and olives in the region. Yumuktepe Mound, which is very important in this context, attracts the attention of visitors.
