Yukarı Taşhan

In the inscription on the big sentence door, it is recorded that Yukarı Taşhan was built by Serbevvab Hacı Abdullah Ağa in 1219 (AD 1804). It is a 2-storey building made of cut stone, with an open courtyard and a portico. The entrance door covered with a barrel vault in the west protrudes from the main walls and is in the form of a large iwan. The sentence door has round arches; it opens to the entrance iwan. In the entrance iwan, there is a niches with pointed arches on the north and south walls and a staircase leading to the 2nd floor, and a door on the right. There are 2 rectangular windows on the south of the entrance facade, 3 on the door and 1 on the north. There are also two shops consisting of arched units in the south. After this entrance facade, the thick square piers surrounding the square courtyard with beveled corners, round arched porches are covered with cross vaults. Downstairs, there are 5 cells on the sides and one at the corners. The cells are covered with mirrored vaults, each with two small niches. November 2021 ?We can call it an inn with 30 rooms, not an inn. The entrance is ostentatious. ?There is an antique shop and a tea shop selling a few religious products in the two-storey building. ?The top of the products was dusty and dirty, especially the food on the religious books was spilled and dried, I was going to warn the shop owner, but I couldn't see it. ? The prices in the shops are reasonable.

A small inn located next to Yıldırım Bayezid Mosque. Ideal if you want to take a rest and drink tea. It has a historical texture. It contains rosaries, religious books, and ancient artifacts. Materials such as suitcases and bags are sold at the entrance. It's a bit small, but ideal for seeing the historical texture and having a cup of tea.
