Yucca House Gökova

The hotel is in a beautiful location on the lovers road, its garden is quiet. We arrived at the hotel on July 25 around 13. We were planning to stay at the hotel for 4 nights. The person whose name we could not learn said that we could check in at 14. He cleaned the room. We entered the room at 14:00. When we first entered the room, we had a look around in order not to lose the day. We came back to the hotel in the evening and when we started to spend time in the room, we encountered serious hygiene problems. The top of the cupboards, inside, and the nightstand were dusty. We cleaned all these dusty dirty places with the disinfectants we brought with us to place our belongings. Then we saw hairs in various parts of the bathroom. Also, the toilet seat was broken. Then there was huge dust and dead flies by the bedside that hadn't been cleaned for months. We also dealt with dozens of small black flies and flies that are usually found in toilets and bathrooms all night. Since the building is prefabricated, I think we were disturbed by the sounds of the people staying in the adjacent rooms all night and we could not sleep. We checked out of the hotel at 8 am the next morning. We had such a bad hotel experience at the beginning of our holiday and moved to another hotel. Even though we stated all our complaints while leaving, no apology was even given. Despite not even having breakfast and such a bad accommodation experience, a nightly fee of 540 TL was charged. We went according to the reviews and ratings of the hotel on various websites, but it was a completely disgraceful stay. We NEVER recommend this hotel after traveling 8 hours for a nice holiday. (Also, the hotel had no covid-19 precautions.)

Its location is on the "lovers road", at a point close to both Akyaka and Akçapınar. However, there may be some difficulty when traveling without a vehicle. Its nature is very beautiful in terms of its location, but the garden and the places that are said to be orchards give the impression of a neglected area. The rooms are big, spacious, you find the rooms clean when you first enter, but it is a little sad that there is no cleaning after the 3rd day. Showers and washbasins are clean, but because the shower cabin is half, it gets wet everywhere. There was a tiny hanger in the room we stayed in, but there are not many places where you can hang your belongings such as towels and swimsuits. The walls are very thin due to their prefabricated structure, you can hear very clearly what is going on in the side rooms. The breakfast is very good, but if you stay for more than 1 week, you may faint. Evening meals are good, but a bit expensive compared to other restaurants. Alcohols are okay.
