The museum is located in a 2-storey wooden building and has historical relics etc. But some of these works will see the unusualness tell you examine the pictures rather than unusual example sarcophagi. Of course, these works mostly cover the period of known Hittites. The environment is quite decent. I suggest you see it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yozgat'a ilk geldiğimde çoğu tarihi yapının yıkıldığını ve yok olduğunu duydum.
When I first came to Yozgat, I heard that most of the historical buildings were destroyed and destroyed. As far as I have visited and seen, historical buildings have always been renovated and repaired. But when I entered and visited the museum, I was very pleased with the view I saw, the items were very well preserved and preserved, the information was written in detail, and most importantly, the historical structure was beautifully designed without deteriorating. I, who is not very interested in history, enjoyed learning by traveling and experiencing history.

They don't take pictures with or without flash inside, sullen officers keep saying come on, come on. We wanted to use the toilet, he said it is forbidden due to the pandemic, it is not possible to understand what kind of logic, precautions were taken in all more crowded museums and while the toilets were open for use, the officer here locked the museum after we visited.

The Yozgat Museum (Nizamoğlu Mansion) was added to the Antiques Protection Area by the Presidency of the High Council for Real Estate Antiques in 1975. The mansion in the Yozgat Merkez İstanbulluoğlu district was built in 1871 and used as a residence for many years, serving as a "girls' art school" for a while and a "tekel warehouse" for a while. The manor house, expropriated in 1979, was put into service as a "museum" in 1985 after major repairs.
Archaeological artifacts are displayed in the museum's lower floor halls and ethnographic artifacts are displayed in the upper floor halls. On the upper floors, rare examples of 19th century painting are noteworthy.
We visited it on August 14th, 2021 and mentioned it in the "Travel Report Tokat Yozgat Part 75" and described it as recommendable.

They provide an extremely successful service with the dedication of the employees in a small historical mansion. These are places for the curious. The new museum project is ready. They are waiting for payment.
