★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The village is worth a visit to see old Ottoman mansions. It is possible to look inside one of the mansions as well as an old wash house for a 2 TL.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small Turkish village
There are lots of beautiful wooden houses.
That would be nice if you visit this places by a tour guide or ask the local to tell the culture in this village. Do not forget to visit laundry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pretty little village with traditional houses and an interesting old wash house. This village is more rustic than Safranbolu, with less tourists. But still worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This village provides a good opportunity to learn how ottoman and turk people lived and continue to live in traditional and rural areas of the country.
Have a walk around the streets, visit the "Wash House", the "Military Son House" and enjoy a traditional meal made by local women. Buy "şalvar" and kitchen tools made of olive-tree wood. Each and every experience worth.
At the "Wash House", the former laundry building, there is a wonderful man explaining how women in the village washed their clothes, made appointment for a place to wash, tall and short women had proper place at the 12 places rock "table". There is short English description on the wall, but the man there, a real guide, is able to show you "how to" for a good understanding of those times.
Then visit the "Sipahioğlu House". In fact there are 2 houses that can be visited for only 3 TL, equivalent to 0,30€. In both you can observe the clothes and furniture items. One of them has the "Family Tree" on the wall, really interesting to observe. Right next to these 2 houses, there is a "restaurant" where you can eat the famous "yaprak sarma", "gözleme", "mantı", drink some "ayran".
Parking in the village is 5 TL, equivalent to 0,50€.
Simple and yet rich way of living. Plenty to learn from.
Enjoy the visit and keep in mind that the village closes for visitors at 21:00, local time.
