★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gerede de lezzetli yemeklerin olduğu bir esnaf lokantası, aynı zamanda ekonomik, İstanbul'a giderken tesadüf sonucu yemek yedik. Tekrar gitmeyi isterim.
Gerede is also an artisan restaurant with delicious food, it is also economical, we had dinner by chance on our way to Istanbul. I would like to go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bi biftek yedim ömrümde yediğim en kötü etti.. Kekiğe bulamışlar onunla atmışlar mangala. Bide yanınca acı acı öğle iğrenç kekik tadı vardık midem bulandı.. Servis sıfır. Ne ezma ne cacık hiç birşey yok döberciye gitsen yanına turşu verir..
I ate a steak, it was the worst meat I've ever eaten in my life.. They covered it with thyme and threw it on the barbecue. When the bidet burned, we had a bitter taste of thyme at lunch, I was sick to my stomach. Service was zero. There is no zest or tzatziki.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gerede gibi lokal bir yerde bulunduğu yere ait yemekleri olan bir lokanta umarken böyle bir kebapçı ile karşılaştık. Kebapları fena değildi ama beklentimiz yerel yemekler yemekti. En yüksek puanlı restorant olduğu için orayı seçtik, otoyol kenarı dinleme tesisleri yerine bölgesel yemekleri tatabileceğimiz bir yer istedik ama standart bir kebapçı ile karşılaştık.
We came across such a kebab shop while we were hoping for a restaurant with local dishes in a local place like Gerede. Their kebabs were not bad, but our expectation was to eat local food. We chose it because it is the highest rated restaurant, we wanted a place where we could taste regional dishes instead of highway side listening facilities, but we came across a standard kebab restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow ! Some of the best kebabs I've ever had. If you are on the toll road to/from Istanbul like we were, do yourself a favor and take the 15 minute detour to feast like the locals do. Communication might be a problem, but ask for the kebab sampler ("butun kebablardan") for your party (or show them the picture from my review). The sampler that was served to us would have easily fed 4 to 6 people. Unbelievably affordable prices for quality food. Free street parking available in front and along the street.
