Located in the middle of the Lightning Complex, Yildirim Mosque was built by Yildirim Bayezid in the late 14th century and is one of the most striking structures of the city with its rich stone workmanship. It is seen that Bursa type arches are applied in a magnificent way as ornamentation in Yıldırım Mosque, which is the most original of the mosques with "T" design. In Yildirim Mosque, there are two rooms on the opposite side of the entrance iwan and these rooms are entered from outside. There are two domes in the middle, one with an iwan on the sides and one with a stove and a small window. The Bursa arches, which give the mosque a special feature, are used in the large arch and windows separating the two main domes. The central dome has a height that gives the interior space a refresh. The walls are covered with cut stones and the prayer section and the iwans on the side are higher than the ground.
