★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a restored castle built by the Cilacian Armenians in the 12th century and later taken over by the Ramadanids and abandoned in the 14th century. Its renovation is finished but its still not easy to get to the second half. Wear sturdy shoes and take care. Not suitable for young children or anyone with walking problems. There is a small restaurant at the bottom where the exterior can be viewed by everyone. Entrance is free. The is well worth a visit and is a great example of a 12th century castle.

Difficult to climb and explore especially if you have children along with you.
There seems to have been basically no excavation done and there is nothing written about the history of the site. That said it is free of charge to park and enter the castle.
Is this a must see? No
Is it worth seeing? Yes, especially if you can go around sunset.
