★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Köyü ilk ismi "Killik"tir. Bu adı, köy alanı içerisinde bulunan "Kil Kuyuları"ndan aldığı söylenmektedir. Sonra yıllar geçtikçe "Kirlik" ismini almıştır. köy ihtiyar heyeti ve köy halkının isteği doğrultusunda, 2005 yılında köyün adı "Yeşilkaya" olarak değiştirilmiştir.
Her yıl Mayıs ayında köyde bulunan turistik "Gergece Kaya Şelalesi"nde festival düzenlenmektedir. Bu alanda yöresel müzik, folklor ve yöresel oyunlar sergilenmektedir. Gelen misafirlere gözleme, ızgara, ayran, mevsimlik meyve ve tatlı ikram edilmektedir.Bartın merkezine 9 km, Amasra ilçesine 11 km uzaklıktadır. Köyden, turistik Amasra ve Kurucaşile ilçesine yol geçmektedir

The first name of the village is "Killik". It is said that this name was taken from the "Clay Wells" in the village area. Then over the years "Kirlik" took the name. In 2005, the village was renamed as ın Yeşilkaya "in line with the request of the village council and the people of the village.
Every year in May, the touristic "Gergece Kaya Waterfall" is a festival. Local music, folklore and local plays are exhibited in this area. The guests are offered pancake, grilled, buttermilk, seasonal fruit and dessert. The center of the resort is 9 km and the town of Amasra is 11 km away. From the village, the tourist road passes to Amasra and Kurucaşile district
