★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avanosa yüzbinler geliyor çarşı pazar insan kaynıyor ama cami boş. Çok güzel tarihi ve serin bir cami. Keşke arka ve sağ duvarlar gibi ön ve sol duvarlarda olduğu gibi taş haliyle kalsaydı.
 Hundreds of thousands of people come to Avanos, the market is crawling, but the mosque is empty. It is a beautiful historical and cool mosque. If only it had remained in stone form, like the front and left walls, as well as the back and right walls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yeşilbaş Camii Avanos’un tarihi camilerinden birisidir. Yaptıranı kesin olarak bilinmese de yeşil sarık saran birisi tarafından yaptırıldığı için bu adla anıldığı söylenmektedir. Cami de iki kitabe vardır. Birisi caminin içindedir. Üzerindeki yazıdan H.1226 (Miladi 1811-1812)yazıldığı, metnin Fazıl isimli bir şaire ait olduğu anlaşılmaktadır.
Yeşilbaş Mosque is one of the historical mosques of Avanos. Although it is not known precisely, it is said to have been called by this name because it was built by someone surrounded by green turban. There are two inscriptions in the mosque. Someone is inside the mosque. It is understood that H.1226 (Gregorian 1811-1812) was written on it, and the text belonged to a poet called Fazil.
