Municipal Organization was established in Yeniçağa in 1962. The first mayor of Yeniçağa was Huseyin Deligöz, the parish director of that time. Hüseyin Deligöz contributed a lot in the establishment of the Municipality Organization in Yeniçağa. The mayors of Yeniçağa district are: After Hüseyin Deligöz, retired teacher Mehmet Güngör, then İbrahim Soysal, then Ömer Sayın, became the mayor of İhsan TURHAN. In 2009 elections, Ahmet KIZILTAN became mayor. Recai ÇAĞLAR, who was elected in the most recent elections, continues his duty. 02/03/2018 We commemorate the deceased of these great people, who have done great services to Yeniçağa District, with respect and deceased. He grew up and became more beautiful day by day. In 1966, Yeniçağa Secondary School was opened for education. This school started education with mixed and 155 existing 5 teachers. Yeniçağa Sub-District became a district with the Law No. 3644 of the Council of Ministers dated 09.05.1990. The decision was published in the Official Gazette on 20 May 1990 and entered into force. The government officially opened on September 5, 1991, and the county was officially activated.

My family and I make frequent trips to the vice from Ankara. On the way back to Ankara, we always take a break at Yeniçag Lake. Thank you for the very good service of the municipality, for the cleanliness and beauty of the environment.
