Üzerinde, Harp anıtındaki gibi dört tarafı kabartmalarla süslü bir mezar odası olan en üstte de arslan şeklinde bir tahtta oturan Prens heykeli bulunan 11 metre yüksekliğinde görkemli bir anıt olduğu anlaşılmaktadır.
Kherei isimli Likya Kralı'nın savaşlarla geçen yaşamının anısına dikilmiştir.
M.Ö. 425-400 yıllarına tarihlenen anıtın dört yüzünde bilinen en uzun Likçe yazıt yer almaktadır.
The Inscribed Pilye Monument looks like a monolithic stone block.
It is understood that it is a magnificent 11-meter-high monument with a tomb chamber decorated with reliefs on four sides, as in the Harp monument, and a Prince statue sitting on a lion-shaped throne at the top.
It was erected in memory of the war-torn life of the Lycian King named Kherei.
B.C. There is the longest known Lycian inscription on all four faces of the monument, which is dated to 425-400.
