★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an impressive museum that lays out the history and archeological digs of eastern Turkey. Definitely worth spending 3-4 hours exploring before continuing on to the Van Kalesi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved it very interesting just recently opened. This museum is opposite Van castle. The information boards are in English and Turkish and the videos which are dotted around the museum have English subtitles.
There are toilets and a cafe located within the museum.
