From the Rector; My dear workfriends, Dear students, To move Uludağ University to higher levels in academic and scientific terms ‘3. We continue to guide our works with the vision of "Generation University". Today, around 63 thousand students receive education at Uludağ University, which is planned for 12 thousand students. There have been many unplanned investments in our growing university. Today, our university has become a big center where approximately 50 thousand people come and go. We are aware that if we do not carry out future studies quickly, a much more cumbersome university structure will emerge in the future. As management, we made our analyzes and plans in line with this vision. We are rapidly completing our efforts to strengthen the physical, technological and academic infrastructure in order to bring our university to a position that will make its name more popular in the future. We planned the next 25 years of our university with our projects. With the projects that we have laid the foundations and will realize in the coming period, our university will almost return to a construction site. In 2015 and 2016, we have made investments that will raise the success bar of our university not only physically but also in academic and scientific studies. We brought project support to the scientific studies of our academics. As a university, we provide financial support to the works to be carried out jointly with the industry. For the first time in the history of the university, we have provided 50 million TL of resources for the studies carried out only within the scope of the Scientific Research Project. The number of patents obtained in a short time exceeded 200 with the support we have given for the patenting of the projects and products developed within our university. We continue to make our goals a reality in 2017 and in the coming years. We will lay the foundations of new buildings in order to carry out education and training activities in high quality and modern spaces. We will build central classrooms, laboratories, faculties, units and lodgings. We will complete the deficiencies of our faculties and vocational schools. In doing so, the opinions of our academics, staff, students and city dynamics will always be a priority for us. Together, we will implement the 3rd Generation University vision at Uludağ University.
