★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This IS the best Iskender Kebap I've tasted in Istanbul and I've been in Istanbul so many times. It is quite different from all the others you'd find, specifically, not so much tomato sauce. Original branch is in Bursa and this branch is in Atasehir.
It is a little deep into the Asian side, so I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there, but if you are around..don't miss it.
Also make it a traditional meal by ordering the pickled cucumber (Torsu), drinking the grape juice (Sira) and leave a place for their dessert!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best place you can eat the real "uludag kebabı" which is also known as "iskender kebap". I have tried nearly every restaurant that makes the same but this ne is far the best, believe me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ İskender Döner is one of the famous dishes in Turkey. You can find a lit of restaurants serving this dish but, not all have this great taste of meat.
It is one of the famous restaurants I do recommend personally to anyone would ask for adress to try this dish.
Also prices not so expensive and One portion is not enough. So delicious dish.
Even I stopped eating İskender Döner in other restaurants.
Highly recommend. You won't regret.
P.S. the original restaurant in Bursa. And this is İstanbul branch.
