I usually do research on Google Search before making a choice about anything. Likewise, I searched for a nursing home for my father, who has Alzheimer's disease. I chose this place because the reviews of this institution were generally positive. When I called, they promised me a better comfort than my home, doctor and nurse, everything would be in a perfect environment. When we went the first week, we saw our father well pleased. But in the following weeks we realized that the institution was insufficient. On my second visit, we visited my father in his room because he had swelling in his foot. My father was lying in the double room facing the wall, shivering. In the following days, various people from my family visited and said that they saw my father in the same situation and that the institution did not care enough. When I called the nurse's phone to reach my father, to learn about his condition, a gentleman who did not know much about the patient answered the phone more than once, and the nurse lady said he would call and inform you, and he did not respond. Unfortunately, we lost my father 15 days later. As a family, we regret that you spent your last days in this institution uninterested. While we wanted my father to lead a healthy life in a more comfortable environment, we were saddened that he lost his life in such an environment. My advice to you is to think carefully before bringing your elders.
