The museum and the exhibition is very unique and interesting. Moreover, the museum is quite big actually. The entrance fee is 4 liras for adults and 2 liras for students. There is also a parking lot in front of the museum where you can park your vehicle easily. The only struggle must be the lack of information in English. However still it's a must visit please. The museum will give you a proper image of the Turkish political life.

This place is absolutely recommendable. You can feel the pain the people suffered while they had been in prison. Very rarely I had been impressed so much by a museum. The only thing, there are no English explanations... only for those who have no mentally illness or depression. Otherwise it might influence your mood too much that you might not recover so easily

A weird place to visit but nice nonetheless. You can see and feel how prisoners lived their daily lives there. From the outside, it looks like a lot more prisoners were incarcerated there but from the dormitories, less than 100 convicts were there. The only negative point is that all the information is only in Turkish but Google translate really does wonders.

What an experience...A well preserved and restored museum. Even if you don't know Turkey's history, the emotions are still very powerful. 9TL the entrance fee for an adult.

A unique experience to see what prison life was like in Turkey where many famous Turkish people serving time here even an old prime minister. There isn't much English explanations but definitely worth a visit just to see.

Prison museums are not that common, and this one didn’t seem like a usual prison to me. Great place for cheap tickets. Would recommend!
