The villagers, who were cursed by Abdal Musa, could not find a way to pass through the enthusiastic flow of the water in the winter, and in the hot summer months, they could not find water to drink as the spring flows to the Elmalı side. It is interesting that the boiling water here, overlooking the Elmalı side, forms a barrier with a thick ice wall during the winter months, so it flows to Kaş side every year until the beginning of May, when the water is not needed, and that local people call it "Şeytan Su". As of May, when the ice at the spring thaws, this time, it starts to flow to the Elmalı Plain during the months when water is most needed. The residents of Elmalı also named this enthusiastic water flowing to them whenever they needed it "Uçarsu".
