 Türk Eximbank - also known as the Export Credit Bank of Turkey - is an institution that was established with the decision of the Council of Ministers published in the Official Gazette dated August 21, 1987, and provides loans with the aim of improving exports.
From 1987 to 2012, Türk Eximbank's general directorate was located in Ankara. In 2012, it moved its headquarters to Ümraniye in order to be closer to exporting companies. The bank has a total of 3 Regional Directorates, 20 branches and 12 liaison offices in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir.
