Lentil soup!!!!!!! LOVE IT. Great after a few too many drinks!

Late night soup experience

Family run cafe with homely food ? Recommend the meat or tripe soup, with a portion of beans and rice on the side (: Absolute unassuming gem of a place.

Highly recommend the lentil soup with burnt butter sauce! Do not be fooled by the unassuming little cafe style seating area, this place is an absolutely gem... and who can say no to the tub of fresh bread that you get with the soup??

No menu, no price tags, no dish photos. They will just tell you some random high prices, and then will give you some small random portions.

Had the tribe soup & lentil in the morning for breakfast then we came back again in the evening as we were told there's lamb leg soup for the day. It's superb ??

We started our day with their stripe soup, fresh n original taste of the food itself. Then we ordered another lentil soup to finish off the breakfast, that's another surprise. We came back in evening for their highly recommended trotter soup. I bet they cooked it the whole day. The trotter literally melted in the soup. It's full of collagen which we definitely needed after days of sun bathing. You MUST add the garlic vinegar to your soup. A traditional Turkish dish to try on this beach side town.

Looked at the reviews and went to eat soup. Right in the cafe, people cooked chicken (in my opinion, this should be done in the kitchen). But we were not embarrassed, we are not picky. The place itself smelled of something sour, and we sat down outside. Next to the table was someone's bone, apparently a dog was playing with it. It didn't increase my appetite. But again, we are not picky and I just stomped the bone into the bushes. The table at which we sat down was a little sticky and dusty, but again I repeat, we ate in not such places. Ordered two lentil soups. The soup is usually served with salad and bread, which are included in the price. There was only bread from a plastic box, the bread was not fresh, although there should be no problems with bread, there are shops nearby with fresh loaves for 3 lira apiece. There was no salad. The soup itself is worse than average, we often go to Turkey and lentil soup is our favorite dish. We even prepare it ourselves, it is very difficult to spoil it. This soup had a bad taste. The lemon helped a little. Once again I will say, we are not picky and ate food. But the price was just a huge 60 lire for two soups and stale bread!!! In the morning we ate the same soup with salad included in another cafe for 44 lira for two servings! I'm writing this review and I give it the worst rating because of the price. Your cafe cannot ask such a price for such a service! Go to your competitors for lunch, and compare the price and quality of service. And don't serve bad bread!
