I just got back from a 2,5 hour trip each way. The native guard post and security officer treated us with dignity and respect. They even offered us tea at the gate. Thank You. They make me proud of who they are!
Sadly, I cannot say the same about the embassy personnel I met with outside the embassy building. This person did not even bother to take me in. He made me feel unwelcome and insignificant. Regardless of the outcome of my visit, I want this person to know that he’s nobody.
I hope things get better after Sunday’s vote.
