★ ★ ★ ★ ★ İlk İzmit’e gelişim 70’li yılların son yıllarıydı. O zamanlar tren şehir içinde geçer ve her tarafı dumana boğardı. Yıllar birbirini kovaladı ve tren yolu sahile alındı. Bu eski istasyon binası müze olarak kullanılmaya başlandı.
Bir gün yolunuz İzmit’e düşerse bu binayı ziyaret etmenizi tavsiye ederim.
My first visit to Izmit was in the last years of the 70s. At that time, the train passed through the city and was filled with smoke. Years chased each other and the train track was taken to the beach. This old station building has been used as a museum.
If you happen to be in Izmit one day, I recommend you to visit this building.

Burayı yanlış plotladıkları için Ankara’dan İzmit’e ziyarete gelen ben dönüşte treni tercih edip, navigasyona bakıp tren garı burası diye geldiğimizde treni kaçırdım.
